Custom or ready-made - the honest rule
If the window is a standard size, square, and the room is not light-critical, a stock shade will do the job for less. If it is oversized, out of square, a bay, a stairwell, or a bedroom you need genuinely dark - custom pays for itself in fit.
We will say which one your window is. It is a shorter conversation than most people expect.
