Questions we get before every measure
What does an in-home measure cost?
Nothing. We measure, bring samples, talk through options and leave you with a written quote. There's no charge and no obligation to order.
How long does a custom order take?
Typically 7-10 business days from approved quote to installation, depending on fabric availability and how many windows are in the order. Sample figure - to be confirmed by the client.
What does it cost per window?
Custom shades depend on size, fabric, mechanism and mounting, so we quote per opening after measuring. As a rough guide, most single-window roller shades in this market land in the $180-$650 range, motorized ones higher. Your written quote is fixed before any deposit.
Can I control motorized shades from my phone?
Yes, with systems that support it. Depending on the motor, the app connects directly or through the manufacturer's Wi-Fi gateway, and can open, close, group and schedule shades. We list exactly which functions your chosen system supports on the quote.
Are your shades child-safe?
We default to cordless and motorized mechanisms, which remove the loose cord entirely. If a design needs a chain, we install the required tension device and explain the safety guidance.
What's covered by warranty?
Fabric, mechanism, motor and installation workmanship are each covered - terms differ by component and manufacturer, so exact periods are written on your quote and invoice.
