Pricing & quotes
What does an in-home measure cost?
Nothing. We measure, bring samples and leave a written quote. No charge, no obligation to order.
What will my windows cost?
Custom pricing depends on size, fabric, mechanism and mounting. As a guide, most single-window roller shades in this market land in the $180-$650 range, motorized higher, drapery higher still. Your quote is fixed before any deposit.
Do you take a deposit?
Yes, on custom orders - 50% at approval, balance on completion. Exact terms to be confirmed by the client.
Do you offer financing?
To be confirmed with the client before launch.
Measuring & installation
How long does a measure take?
About 45-60 minutes for a whole house, less for a single room. We check every opening, the mounting depth and whether the window is square.
How soon can you install?
Typically 7-10 business days from approved quote, depending on fabric availability.
Do I need to be home?
For the measure, yes - decisions get made faster with you there. For installation, an adult needs to be present to let the crew in and sign off.
Will you remove my old blinds?
Yes, and we take them away with the packaging unless you want to keep them.
Motorization
Can I control shades from my phone?
With systems that support it. Depending on the motor, the app connects directly or through the manufacturer's Wi-Fi gateway, and can open, close, group and schedule shades. Your quote lists exactly which functions your system supports.
Battery or hardwired?
Battery motors suit most retrofits and recharge every few months. Hardwired 12/24 V suits new construction, heavy shades and daily cycling.
Do I need a hub?
Some motors need the manufacturer's gateway for app control, others do not. We state it on the quote, including whether it is in the box.
Can you motorize shades I already own?
Sometimes, depending on the tube, weight and brackets. We check at the measure and tell you when replacing is the better spend.
Safety, care & warranty
Are your shades child-safe?
We default to cordless and motorized mechanisms with no accessible cord. Where a chain is unavoidable, we fit the required tension device.
How do I clean them?
Dust regularly with a brush attachment; spot clean fabric with a damp cloth. Full drapery panels should be professionally cleaned. We leave a care sheet at handover.
What does the warranty cover?
Fabric, mechanism, motor and installation workmanship, each with its own terms. Exact periods appear on your quote and invoice.
What if something breaks later?
Call us. Warranty work is scheduled, and out-of-warranty repairs are quoted before we start.
