We walk each one with you at the measure, then put the answers on the quote. No vague "smart home ready" claims.

Motor & power
Rechargeable battery, replaceable cells or 12/24 V low-voltage wiring - chosen by window size, weight and how often the shade cycles.

Control
Button on the shade, wall switch, handheld remote, or the manufacturer's mobile app. Most homes end up with two of the four.

App & gateway
Some motors talk to the app directly, others need the maker's Wi-Fi gateway. We tell you which, and whether it's in the box or extra.

Schedules & groups
Open the east side at 7am, drop the west side at 4pm, one tap for the whole floor. Programmed and demonstrated on install day.

What we will not do
We don't promise integrations a manufacturer hasn't published, and we don't quote battery life we haven't seen in the spec sheet. Every claim on your quote comes from the maker's documentation - including the app name, supported iOS/Android versions and the link to the official manual.

Before you book
Is the measure really free?
Yes. We measure, bring samples, and leave a written quote. No charge, no obligation.
Battery or wired motors?
Battery motors fit most retrofits and recharge every few months. Hardwired 12/24 V suits new construction, large shades or windows you cycle daily. We recommend per window, not per house.
Do I need a hub for the app?
Depends on the motor. Some connect directly over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth; others need the manufacturer's gateway. Your quote states which, and whether it's included.
How much per window?
Most single-window roller shades in this market land in the $180-$650 range; motorized runs higher. Exact numbers come after the measure.
Can you motorize shades I already have?
Sometimes - it depends on the tube, weight and brackets. We check during the measure and tell you honestly when replacing is the better spend.
